Safety Guidelines
Your safety matters — online and on-site.
Rubble is built for real-world logistics, which means staying smart about how and where you interact. These safety guidelines are here to help protect you, your equipment, and your business.
General Safety Practices
Meet in safe, public, or well-lit locations
When meeting buyers or sellers in person, choose neutral, visible locations and avoid isolated job sites without security or proper access.
Inspect materials before confirming delivery
Always verify that the dirt or materials match the listing before completing a transaction. If possible, ask for updated photos or videos prior to pickup.
Keep all communication inside the app
Use Rubble's messaging system for all logistics, payment discussions, and dispute resolution. This protects both parties and keeps a record of interactions.
Never share personal financial information
Rubble handles all payment processing. You should never exchange credit card numbers, banking info, or passwords with other users.
Trust your instincts and report issues
If something feels off — whether it's a listing, message, or meeting — report it immediately through the Report button or via the Issue Resolution center.
On-Site Delivery Tips
Ensure someone is available to receive the material
Don't leave loads unattended unless the site has clear permission and access. Communicate drop-off instructions clearly.
Use protective gear when handling dirt or debris
Gloves, boots, masks, and safety vests are recommended — especially for materials containing fine particles, rock, or debris.
Secure your equipment and avoid leaving it unattended
Be mindful of job site theft or equipment loss when unloading.
In Case of Emergency
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency services before reporting the issue to Rubble.
